Theatre West 97th is the performing arts program at The Franciscan Community Center. We are dedicated to providing the community with the opportunities to have artistic expression in their lives through acting, dance, art and music. |
|
Theatre West 97th’s philosophy is simple, a performing arts experience assists individuals in essential developmental skills which carry into all areas of their lives. Skills to be improved upon are communication, listening, vocal production and diction, body awareness and an understanding and acceptance of the humanities. Theatre West 97th believes in the unparalleled experience of performing for an audience. Performing builds confidence, self-esteem, and provides the satisfaction that comes from completing a project and working as a team. |
